The Community Education Workshops are all about engaging the Community in important subject matter conversations and the introduction to the Skilled Trades.

The Cultural Education Workshops and Research Center are also a part of the General Activities section of the Community and Cultural Center.

The Cultural Education Workshops are all about engaging the Community in important subject matter conversations about ourselves and the world and the introduction to the Skilled Trades.

Because of the fact that, People of Color (Black Afrikan Indigenous People Worldwide) have been marginalized by those who consider themselves White, all over the world where they have violently invaded and destroyed the indigenous populations they encounter using terminology such as manifest destiny and being encouraged by Popes of Rome, like the Hyksos invaders, the Assyrian invaders, the Persian invaders, Greeks invaders and the Arab invaders before them.

Let’s look at the story of the world through the eyes of our ancestors. Not through the eyes of the invaders/colonizers.

The story of the world differs, it is our job and duty to tell Ourstory even though we have been taught to use the word history to describe the past without question. Using the chronology as a guide to study with, you will see at a glance the difference.

Then we, will tell the Story of the World!

The Afrikan Lodge is a part of the Members Activities section of the Community and Cultural Center.

The mission statements here at Amenra Community and Cultural Center is:

To create the environment for African educators to educate... Let's introduce our people to reality...!

This mission statement arose from seeing the lack of space for authentic African educators in western society. This can cause negative effects in the mind of black people's by not seeing our world view and our roles in it. There is a vast amount of knowledge and information forgotten hidden and often times stolen which is a contributor to our circumstance along side with our actions and responses. To solve these problems our solution is making space for learning, past what is taught in public schools, alongside with space for the cultural aspects for a wholistic education and thought process.

It is important to understand “Culture”.

We are approaching education from an Afrikan Centered perspective.

 We are Culturally Oriented.

People have Ideologies and Theologies that may differ or vary, however, we are

interested in knowledge, and ways of removing barriers.

We will speak freely about Afrikan contributions to Civilizations both past and present.

We will speak freely about Afrikans Cosmology and Cosmogony.

We will speak freely about our Afrikan American experience as well as the Afrikan Diaspora   experience.

We will speak freely about the origins of Hue-manity.
